Batching and Scheduling

Batching separates creation from distribution. Scheduling removes the need to open the app at "peak engagement" times you do not care about.

Why batch

  • Context switching kills quality
  • Emotional posting decreases
  • Vacations and sick weeks do not create gaps
  • You can write when calm, not when anxious

Batch sizes

Cadence
Batch unit
1 post/weekMonthly (4 posts)
2 posts/weekBiweekly (4 posts)
Daily (not recommended here)Weekly

Scheduling tools

Use native schedulers when good enough (LinkedIn, Meta Business Suite, TikTok). Third-party tools if you manage multiple accounts — audit app permissions afterward.

Batch session agenda (90 min)

  • Review pillars + theme (10 min)
  • Draft 3–4 posts (50 min)
  • Add images or carousels (20 min)
  • Schedule with staggered dates (10 min)

What not to schedule

  • Real-time commentary on news you care about
  • Responses to others (stay human)
  • Crisis or apology posts

Buffer posts

Keep one evergreen post unscheduled as backup if you cancel a topical post.

Time zone pragmatism

Schedule for when your buyers browse, not global "best times" lists. Test two slots for a month; compare profile visits, not likes.

After publishing

Calendar reminder: 15 min engagement block per post day — replies matter more than perfect timing.

Batching checklist

  • Theme chosen
  • Templates open
  • Proof assets folder ready
  • Scheduler logged in
  • Posts reviewed on mobile preview
