Weekly Rhythm

Consistency beats intensity. This rhythm assumes 60–90 minutes per week and one primary platform.

Sample week (solo founder / freelancer)

Day
Task
Time
MondayDraft post #1 (pillar content + proof)25 min
TuesdayPublish; reply to overnight comments10 min
WednesdayEngage: 3 thoughtful replies on others' posts15 min
ThursdayDraft or schedule post #2 (lighter: tip, reshare, behind-scenes)20 min
FridayPublish; check DMs; log one insight15 min
WeekendOff — or optional 5 min DM catch-up0–5 min
Adjust days; keep the tasks, not necessarily the calendar slots.

Batching variant (one block)

90-minute Friday session:
  • Review last week's metric note (5 min)
  • Pick pillar for next week (5 min)
  • Write two posts (40 min)
  • Schedule both (10 min)
  • Engage on 5 posts in feed (20 min)
  • Update content calendar (10 min)
Use this if context-switching daily annoys you.

Rules that protect your attention

  • No posting from bed. Serious drafts deserve a desk.
  • Scheduler is not cheating. It is how adults use social.
  • Mute non-essential notifications — see Notifications and Boundaries.
  • If you miss a week, publish one proof post before restarting hot takes.

Rhythm troubleshooting

Symptom
Fix
"I stare at blank screen"Repurpose one idea four ways — [Repurposing](/content/repurposing-one-idea)
"I post then ghost"Halve volume; double reply time
"Everything feels urgent"Remove app badge; check DMs 2x/day
"I hate what I wrote"Lead with proof, not opinion

90-day commitment

Try this rhythm for twelve weeks before changing platforms or doubling output. Most burnout comes from resetting strategy every two weeks. Move to Foundation when your rhythm feels boring — boring is the goal.
